Our background and knowledge
The founder of TSA brings a strong background in accountancy and finance, paired with real experience in the start-up and small business world. That means a clear understanding of the frustrating and often outdated way the industry works especially when it comes to finding an accountant who just gets it. Cool, different, and genuinely loved by clients, TSA was built to shake things up and make finance feel more human, helpful, and accessible.
How we got started
We wanted a name that truly reflected our ethos. TSA isn’t about seeing clients once a year and calling it a day. We believe in ongoing conversations because staying connected throughout the year helps us help you increase profitability and put our stamp on an otherwise traditional industry. Managing your own tax affairs has become increasingly complex for small business owners, and that’s exactly where we come in. As a business that once started from scratch ourselves, we know how overwhelming it can feel. We also recognised a clear gap in the market: a modern, tech-driven accountancy firm built for small businesses and content creators.
That’s why The Social Accountant was born in early 2021. We saw an exciting opportunity to do things differently in a space that’s often stuck in its ways to build something fresh, approachable, and genuinely supportive. TSA was created to transform the way people view accountancy and we’re just getting started.
